MOUNTING
Our mount boards vary in thickness and are quality-assured — we only use acid-free boards of conservation or museum quality which protect your artwork or memorabilia from damage and staining over a lifetime. The boards come in hundreds of different colours and can be additionally decorated by drawing ruling lines in gold, silver or other colours to further draw the eye in to what is displayed. They can also
be covered with suede, linen or a fabric of your choice for a luxurious effect. The frame aperture can be cut on a bevel, straight cut or cut with multiple apertures. We also offer double/triple mounts to increase eye focus as well as float mounting and shadow mounting for work with a 3D aspect or interesting edges that would benefit from being displayed
GLAZING
It is important to protect your artwork or memorabilia from damage by sunlight, especially where the piece is of value and is hung in an exposed place. We can glaze your artworks in a way that reflections will not impact on one’s ability to properly view them. We carry six types of framer's glass ranging from a simple 2mm glass to specialised products with differing levels of anti-reflection and UV protection properties.
Our ultimate type of glass has the effect of seeming invisible, as though the image were not glazed at all.
MIRRORS
The majority of the 3000 different mouldings we have access to are perfectly suitable to create a unique, tailor-made framed mirror designed and sized to fit perfectly into your home decor scheme. We can source the exact size mirror glass you need to go into the frame we create, giving you a one-of-a-kind object that can often prove to be a more cost-effective and aesthetic alternative to something store-bought.
